EMC KIMBERLEY: EMC EASTERN GURUMA JOINT VENTURE

Carnegie’s wholly owned subsidiary Energy Made Clean (EMC) signed a joint venture agreement with aboriginal corporation Eastern Guruma Pty Ltd to create Energy Made Clean Kimberley.

Eastern Guruma are a supply nation certified Aboriginal Corporation with a 180-person workforce, of which 68% are Indigenous. The partnership will allow EMC, through EMC Kimberley, to expand into the northern West Australian market to capitalise on the growing requirement for reliable, off-grid energy solutions. EMC Kimberley will provide innovative energy solutions including renewable energy technologies and stand-alone power systems which will deliver reliable, cost effective and low maintenance services to people living and working in remote areas.

EMC Kimberley has opened a new office and workshop in Broome to provide a direct path of service to the region and provide better opportunity to engage with the local community in the consultation process to establish energy needs as well as provide employment for local contractors to install and monitor energy systems.
